About Dr. John Knochel

Dr. John Knochel is a second-generation podiatrist. After graduating from University of Arizona, John D. Knochel matriculated at Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine. Please visit the home page of this website for more information about Dr. John Knochel’s current practice location.

This is the former infomation about Dr. Joseph Knochel DPM:

Dr. Joseph Knochel graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976. His residency was at University of Southern California, in Los Angeles. He was also a clinician for the USC Podiatry Program [in charge of Podiatric students at the school].

After graduating, Dr. Joseph Knochel returned to Arizona and began his practice in Phoenix on June 6th, 1977. He bought Leona Evans, D.P.M.’s small Prescott practice in 1978, and began building this practice by commuting from Phoenix once a week. He was the first podiatric surgeon admitted to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center (courtesy staff).

Personal Info

Dr. Joseph Knochel is married with two grown sons, and a step-son and step-daughter. His younger son, John, is a graduate of Midwestern University’s Podiatric Medicine program. Dr. John Knochel completed his residency in Houston, Texas and now practices in Arizona.

James Knochel completed a computer science degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He designed Dr. Knochel’s website, has completed the 2-year Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner program, and builds Edgar Cayce’s Radial Appliance, which many find to be helpful for relaxation.

Dr. Knochel enjoys exercising his two dogs:
